about companion farewells

Hello, we’re Michael and Tracy Bates, the husband-and-wife team behind Companion Farewells. We founded our pet cremation service because we understand just how deep the bond between you and your pet can be. Over the years, we’ve said goodbye to our own beloved companions, and we know how important it is to have a respectful, compassionate, and personal service during such a difficult time.

family run

Based in Worthing, we are proud to offer individual pet cremations, ensuring your pet receives the care they deserve on their final journey. From the moment you reach out to us, we’re here to provide gentle guidance and support. We take care of every detail, from the collection of your pet to the return of their ashes within 48 hours, so that you can focus on what matters most—saying goodbye in your own way.

As a family-run business, we treat each pet with the same love, care, and attention that we would give to our own. We handle everything with professionalism, kindness, and transparency, offering comfort and peace of mind during a very emotional time. We’re truly grateful for the trust so many families have placed in us over the years, and much of our work comes from their heartfelt recommendations.

our beliefs

We believe in providing a service that feels personal, not clinical. Losing a pet is a deeply emotional experience, and our mission is to ensure that each farewell is dignified and compassionate. If you ever need our help, we promise to be there with understanding and care, every step of the way.

Thank you for considering Companion Farewells. Please feel free to get in touch if you have any questions or need support.

Warm regards,
Michael & Tracy Bates
